Locality Colorado Plateau: Arizona Strip, ca. 1 mile SE of Fredonia, ca. 1.2 miles E of junction of Arizona Highway 389 and U.S. Alt 89, and ca. 3.8 miles S of the Utah state line.
     Elev.: 4750 ft. (1448 m.)
Habitat Notes reddish clay soil of Moenkopi Formation on ?ats below gypsiferous knobs.
