Specimen Notes [an unusual variant with shorter stems, more compact and slightly broader basal lvs and densely cinereous lvs & stems, spec. has spreading-ascending & hirsute villous phyllaries and densely hisute-strigose lvs, E. nematophyllus has hirsute-strigose appressed phyllaries and nearly glabrous to sparsely strigose lvs, J. Alexander, Aug 2008].
