Locality mountains on the E side of Deer Creek Reservoir & SE of Charleston, ca. 1 air mile E of the junction of US Highway 89 and Utah Highway 113, along the dirt road starting near Milepost 24 and going up the to the summit of the mountain; 
Ecology with Artemisia, mountain brush.
